Strangest thing you've detailed or waxed?

My wife thinks I'm nuts. In the process of putting our washer and dryer on pedestals and generally making our laundry area bit more spiffy, I took the time to wax the washer and drier. Nothing too crazy either, just a quick coat of spray wax.

I have heard of people using a clay bar on their license plates and following up with a coat of wax. Any other crazy things to detail?

Chest. Lmao.
Along with pedicures, waxing isn't as unmanly as people think.
Ruck 25 miles, pedicures are golden afterwards.

I've waxed our washer and dryer a few times....seems to stay cleaner that way.

The strangest thing: a 2006 Vammas multi-task snow removal machine for a press event. This is a 53' long airport runway plow (27' plow blade), steel-bristle 22' x 46" diameter broom, and an air-blast jet blower for drying runway surfaces. These are equipped with two Caterpillar diesels with around 1k HP.

With out pics it didn't happen..

Just my tractor when it was new, should help the paint a bit, probably I should do it again in a year or two. Its under cover most of the time anyways.

Hello, How 'bout detailed AND waxed?
After thorough washing, I spot prepped (cleaned with paint thinner), and touched-up the chipped/abraded orange and black paint and waxed (once dried) my friend's pair of Ariens lawnmowers. He was to drum up business in a well-heeled neighborhood.
I don't think it's strange at all; but I went with your question. Kira

That makes perfect sense! You could also use some metal polish on it, mask it off, and then paint it with automotive clear coat. It will stay tarnish free for a long time that way.

Lawn tractor, snow blower, leaf blower, tool box, and our ski helmets!

In my old house before we sold it I did use a cleaner wax on the fiberglass shower install and it looked great!

Like the idea of the washer & dyer, might have to consider that next time I am detailing.
