Been some threads on them already but I looked them over when I was in AZ recently (that doesn't happen very often ha ha).

I think it is all about profit, the margin on those has to be higher than the Fram Tough Guards that now seem to be gone from AZ. Same advertised efficiency and mile use rating of 10k as the Tough Guard. Coincidence? I think not. IMO they are really about a 5 buck filter they are trying to sell for almost double that.

If they were 4-5 bucks I'd probably try one for fun.
 
stay away from anything made by tearolater, Their new filters are coming out soon wait about 2 years just to be safe and if they are reported as an ok filter then maybe try one but only after their is no drama after 2 years.
Im sort of happy they started tearing i like wix now like i have said in all their grades Wix has good filters.

Funny thing is-AZ actually has a pricing error on the Ultra for the Powerstroke-they're only $9.99 for an XG3786, substantially cheaper than WM or anywhere else I've seen-& $4 CHEAPER than the inferior STP Extended Life one.
