I posted this before and didn't really get a definitive response from anybody. I emailed Amsoil tech support and they were VERY VAGUE (one line answer). I drive a 2001 Honda Civic with a 5 speed manual transmission. I would like to use a synthetic transmission fluid that replaces Honda MTF (hard to shift in cold canadian winters). I checked Amsoils website and it would "appear" that their new "synthetic synchromesh transmission fluid 5w30 (mtf)" fits the bill. Am I correct? Their website states: "replaces Honda genuine MTX (doesn't say mtf?) fluid for manual transaxcles". Comments please.

Talk to Molakule at Specialty Formulations. (Check the site sponsor forum.) I'm sure he's got something that will work superbly in your transmission and at a price point similar to Amsoil, but without any vagueness.

Thanks,But I live in Canada and the shipping costs are too expensive (I realize they will ship pretty much anywhere).
