For all those who say they don't see K&N on expensive equipment...seen LOTS of racecars with K&N. I bet those motors cost at least as much as a Duramax. Untill I get a used oil analysis with more than the average silicon in it (and my last one was right at average with a just-cleaned K&N), I ain't worried about it. That being said, my truck has no MAF. I suggest that a K&N is neither as good as some people say, nor as bad as a lot of people say. Mine is filtering just fine, and my truck runs nice and strong. I found no difference on the butt dyno with an Airaid MIT and K&N panel filter, but I know it flows more air. A 5,000+ pound truck with a 4.7 ain't gonna show much difference. I know if I put one in my Ninja I would have to use a power programmer to compensate, or run so lean I melt the motor, so they must do something good for power.
