Fuel system revitalizer.

Anybody use this?

I'm using it on my KLR 650 that is running rough very poorly even though I have use sta-bil in the gas. This bike just sits and is never ridden.

I can't speak for this new product but the regular Sta-Bil is a incredible product. It's one of those product's that is worth it's weight in gold.

I'd bet their new product is just as impressive.

I'm not as smitten with Sta-bil as you. I stabilize all of my OPE fuel the day I buy it (originally with Sta-bil). Despite this and storing "dry" (drained carb bowl) the brand new carb on my Tecumseh-powered snowthrower still got enough deposits over the summer to interfere with proper operation the next winter. The deposits were soft, instead of hard, and could simply be scraped off the needles with a fingernail but it still required disassembly.

I switched from Sta-bil to Amsoil AST and I've had no storage-related deposits since. My Tec is admittedly sensitive to deposits as my Honda carbs (newest is 7 y/o) look like they just came out of the box.

I had success with Sea Foam, 1 oz. per gallon in a Echo trimmer that would not idle. After 15 minutes it cleared up using the Sea Foam. If the new Sta-Bil product does not work, Sea Foam may help.

I saw the product at walmart.....almost looks like a "last resort" product....i.e.: the damage has already been done (let gas sit too long in the mower/trimmer/vehicle).

But not too sure, didn't look at it close enough :)

EDIT, wasn't MTBE banned in most places?

Dang....I typed that in and didn't recognize the MTBE acronym.
