Actually, where I live now seems more rural then where I lived at in MS. I think the mountain does something to these folks, either that or something in the water...
Mississippi stopped requiring car inspections two or three years ago. I always thought it was a greedy way for the state to make extra money. However, I now see twice as many cars held together with duct tape and bungee cords. It may be the same in other non-inspection states.
