P.Y.B. 5w-30 SN/GF-5 and SHELL SM /GF-4 look to have good amount of moly from the 2 U.O.A.s I've posted . http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2258333#Post2258333 and http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2217800#Post2217800 . Here's the amount of moly in the SHELL conventional 5w-30 that's SM/GF-4 , http://www.pqiamerica.com/shellabelrevnew.htm . Would think the SHELL S.N./GF-5 would remain the same . The PENNZOIL and SHELL were both bought for less than $2.50 a quart , including tax . A good bang for the buck .

I use Motorcraft 5W-20. Here in NW NJ I just don't see great bargin pricing on oil. WalMart's everyday pricing is much less than auto parts stores. When the auto parts stores offer their dino/filter oil specials they usually use a filter I don't want, aka the orange Fram or even the Purolater Classic, though I'd much rather use the Purolater. I really want a silicone ADBV. The Motorcraft oil filters I use for my Ford truck has the silicone ADBV and only cost $3.67 at WalMart. The Motorcraft 5W-20 in the 5 quart jug currently costs $14.50 and I buy an additional single quart for $3.27, to make the 6 quarts I need for a change.

The Motorcraft oils have seemed to provide really good UOA's at a consistantly reasonable price.

The Motorcraft oil & filter at WalMart are always there when I need to change my oil. I don't have to hunt all over for a "cheaper bargin" of pennies per quart.

I would say it`s because people think it`s too high priced. I have some in my stash, have already used it, and works well in mine. My motor is very quiet on Conventional oil, compared to the Synthetic. Then again,Synthetic is not required in mine. But They recommend it in the later models.

Citgo Syn Blend for $1.09 that I scored from Fleet Farm.

Also the Mobil Super 5000 that I scored from Fleet Farm for $1.09.

The cheaper the better... I run dino for 5K with the cheapest filters I can find.
