from what i have read lately PYB is boasting over 200 PPM moly and a good shot of boron too. but QS has really big shot of Boron. and it looks like moly is all but gone from CS and Havoline.

which dino do you think is most robust from looking at the spec sheets, voas and uoas?

Oh well, I am sure it's still a good oil.

where did you get it?

well so far (and its still early) i think PYB has the most robust add pack with all the moly and boron, not to mention over 2000 PPM of calcium. nice TBN too

QS is second in my book, its a little low on moly but really good boron and calcium levels.

not so sure about the new CS. the moly is down under 100 and boron is not too big either. the detergents dont seem to be up too high either but its got a really good TBN for dino so maybe there is more there than meets the eye??

i have no seen anything on the new formula shell but i would love to see a uoa or voa...

not very impressed at with the new Mobil Super. they added sodium and dropped the calcium levels. it really looks alot like valvoline dino now. im thinking the old 5000 is a better oil (at least on paper)

why? i mean besides price its not that awesome. even when you consider price its not that great of a deal when compared to QSAD. i have seen some ok uoas but nothing on the SN and the ones i have seen were nothing to write home about

Got some PYB for $2.49/Quart recently at Kroger. Good deal, not great. Formula Shell is another favorite around these parts for 3,000-5,000 mile OCIs, depending on your application.
