Any recommendations? My primary interest is accuracy and ability to change battery. Looking for more a shop model vs one to attach to the engine. I bought a cheap hour/RPM meter, but its very inaccruate, at least 200-500RPM off.

I've heard good things about the OPPAMA/ECHO PET 1100 series units, but they are expensive >$130 and very hard to find online.

At the Tiny Tach mfg. page (DTI -Design Technology, Inc.) also check out "other tachs".

I have the DTI 110 (also known as DTI 20K) at work and it seems to work well. It also gets good reviews at pro sites like lawnsite.com and arboristsite.com.
