K&N goes to another manufacturer, not Rank Group.

My KN-204 for my 09 FZ6R states it is made in Thailand. I bought an 8 pack off Amazon and they hold up well.

I got my K&N Filter and it says made in USA, However I was at AutoZone today and I looked at the same filter number and it was made in KOREA and the KOREA ones have a plastic film over the top of the oil filter.

However the ones made in the USA are better IMO.

I looked at the same one and the bypass Valve looked much better as in a SPRING, the KOREA K&N Bypass looked just like a Purolator bypass.

I dunno why K8N did this as they have been known for saying made 100% USA.
