I got it in the mail let me post the highlights. They are completely boring.
3,500 miles in severe abuse mode used in extreme dust and towing a 5k boat.
The mods are extensive including K+N, increased timing, full exhaust,stall converter
I guess the oiled filter works as silicon was 7 the same as the averages
all reading within averages the sample was perfect.
The only difference was fuel 5w/30 held it visc, no fuel or water,Low insolubles on my fram filter
tbn=4.2

Extensive mods = bolt-ons?

Extensive mods would be cam/heads/power adder.

I have heads and ratio rockers and run a wet shot on occasion. I am considering a magna charger however daily reliability is my biggest concern at the moment.

Looks really good - could have done about 6-7k in this service.

I'm impressed with the visc. retention - usually, M1 5w30 shears to about 9.3-9.7....here it is still well above 10.
 
Only 3.5k miles on it so the retention is well in check. The oil looks to be in good standing.

The 2 UOA's I had done with M1 5w30 with similar mileage on similar engines also had kin visc's at 100C above 10 (10.1 and 10.4)
 
Very good report. You could run it longer, lots longer.

Is it a straight K&N, or are you running the foam sock? The sock really makes a difference in filtering ability without compromising airflow.
