Can someone tell me who makes this shower/tub mixer valve? I need to replace it. can no longer maintain a constant temperature. Is this something that is commonly soldered or screwed in like replacing the sink faucet?

It looks like an older discontinued version of a KOHLER K-304 Rite Temp mixing valve.

Bring it to a real plumbing supply place. If they're not killer busy they'll figure it out.
