They had a major string of incidents back when I was living in NY. LP and actual police posted up in high-end stores, and gave anyone who was young, black, and using a credit card for an expensive purchase a full-out SWAT team ambush. The sweep was a miserable failure. Of all the people they assaulted, everyone had legally purchased their merchandise with their own credit, in their own name, with valid ID.

This is why racial profiling is wrong, and should stay wrong. There's a very thin line between what they make racial profiling out to be, and Germany in 1939.

I'm going to guess that you've never done market research for a retail business. You're not going to find a high-end store in any kind of poor neighborhood, because poor people can't generally afford high-end products.

Yourself, living in South Florida, you should know that high-end retailers have done as bad in the low-income quiet suburbs as they have being near a ghetto. One doesn't have to look much further than the old Fashion Mall in Broward to see a finer example of that. Galleria pulled on their customer base from the East, and Sawgrass pulled from the West, and pulled them out of business.

I thought Hurricane Wilma damaged the Fashion Mall roof and the owners closed the mall. Code violations piled up and for a decade it sat abandoned.

Now a developer will remodel structure into luxury condos with shops on the first floor.... beauty salon, cafe, dry cleaners, etc...

It was a convenient excuse. Once Lord and Taylor jumped ship, everyone else wanted out. Fashion Mall changed hands like a 50 cent donkey many times before Wilma came around.

I took the road of reality, you don't like that? Too bad, the stats from the gov't prove out that blacks and hispanics are much more likely to commit crimes with regards to their overall % of the entire population of the USA. That's the facts jack.

I "talk tough" because I think a person such as yourself, has opinions and viewpoints I completely disagree with?

I hide behind nothing. I express my opinions as freely as the individual I am communicating with...while in person or on the internet.

To know me is to know that I have an abrasive nature. I don't deny that. Almost nothing sickens me more these days than to have to listen to people with ideas and notions that in my opinion, are contrary to what I like to say are common, decent values. You say things that are so far out there, I can't but help but to sharply rebuke you.

I've never listened to anybody like you that distorts and exaggerates police corruption the way you do. Much of the negativity you spew probably has a lot to to with your admitted tendency to drive drunk....and to have lived as a vagrant...expecting others to give you money because you screwed up your own life. You don't even have an ounce of shame for having been a beggar. You even chastise others when they use common sense in not giving a drunk bum money to buy booze. That's strange coming from a person that used to live on the streets and still doesn't seem to realize the perils of being a drunk...even to the point of enabling others to remain a drunk.

Am I ok with myself? I am. I'm certainly not anywhere near a perfect or ideal person. But I accept who I am and I'm not afraid to voice my opinion...especially today with our entire culture and society falling apart....and people that are staying silent because they are afraid of being attacked/labeled.

I don't do that...I speak up.

Have you not noticed that in every one of these cases where a cop has killed someone and it results protests against the police, the person killed was doing something illegal, and that person had rap sheet a mile long? That should tell you something right there...
