Shoichiro Toyoda passing

Seriously, Chrysler doesn't exist anymore. While they had good engines and automatic transmissions the rest of the car was terrible which is why they are out of business. (the New Process 5 speed in my 1983 Omni was the worst manual I ever drove.....and I've driven many.)
Chrysler, as a brand, exists, it's just not independent and hasn't been since Mercedes merged with Chrysler. It is now part of Stellantis, which also owns Fiat, Ferrari, Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Lancia, Maserati, Opel and Vauxhall.

Not really any different from other brands that have changed ownership over the years like Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi, Rolls Royce, Volvo, Saab...etc.
