Changed oil today.

Used 6 qts of Valvoline Syn Power 5w-30 and 1 qt Vavoline Conventional 5w-30. OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't have enough of either one to do the whole job so I kinda broke one of my own rules 2 different oils in one oil fill.

Purolator filter.

Don't feel bad. On a previous OCI, I poured in 5 qts of Valv. Durablend bought with a filter from O'Reillys for $12.99.

Problem was, my Q45 takes 6 quarts. For some reason individual quarts of Durablend were $4-5 everywhere. So what did I do? I found a quart of QS 4X4 oil for $1.97 and dumped that in with the Valvoline stuff. I had me a mix of Quakervalve Stateoline!

I then took the car on several road trips, placing myself, my passengers and the public at large at substantial risk to life and upsetting the delicate balance of petrochemical harmony. Livin' on the edge, indeed!!
