Yes , did see that . Anything is possible . Have plenty of it to use for cars and small engines . It's SN , SN+ . Feel comfortable with that . Used P.P. 0w-20 , 5w-20 , 5w-30 and 10w-30 for many years before R.G.T..

Our Walmart had a few jugs recently that were discounted for $15. I figured that it was going away since Autozone got rid of it and so is our Walmart.

They updated it to SP a while ago, but I don't think I've seen anyone reporting they've got SP jugs, I've only seen one person with a jug newer than Mar-April 2019.

I just bought 5 jugs from Walmart that was on sale for $17.xx and all were SN plus. I was able to get the remaining of what they had but have since restocked online, the stores are hit or miss and I bought the last 2 jugs of 5w30 off the shelf and haven't seen it restocked since and there is plenty of room still available.

You can buy it off of Amazon for $20 + discount for subscribe and save, also there's $3 coupon right now.
The question is - why would you try chasing it? Nothing special about this oil really, I doubt it's significantly better than QSUD that you can buy at any walmart

I thought there was more difference but now it looks like they might literally be the same oil in different bottles.
They might be different still, but it doesn’t matter. I prefer qsud still due to its high moly

The moly content and all the other additives was pretty much the same between the QSUD and RGT PQIA tested at least in the 5w-20 grade, RGT had 178ppm and QSUD had 181ppm, which seems to me to be the same because that's probably well within the margin of error for these type of analyses.

I see It did come back, I recently ordered some from Amazon not too long ago but then they reduced their price so I cancelled the order as they wouldn't refund me the difference and then ordered it again at the cheaper price. They've since been out of stock unless you went with 3rd party sellers who want over $30 and $50.... no thank you that's highway robbery. This is the 5w30 I'm talking about, the 5w20 has been in stock and the 0w20 is over $30.

5 quart SN+ 5W20 RGT @ $5.24 on clearance at Walmart. I have two vehicle that can use it. I got 13 jugs. I won't push the OCI and will change it out at 5K miles. It certainly looks like QSUD which I have used without any problems. Not sure how much benefit I would get by opting for the new SP oil at 5K OCI.
