Shell 5w20, Good oil for my 04 vulcan taurus?

Motorcraft 5w20 Synthetic Blend, 5000 KM Oil and Filter Change.

I was thinking though about using a full synthetic, like pennzoil platinum 5w20... I here it is a great oil but how long could could i go between oil changes using it with my driving style? I was thinking 10,000 Kilometers. Does that sound resonable with that oil?

Completely reasonable! It could go a lot longer than that most likely.

BTW... At PepBoys the other day i noticed that the Formula Shell bottles now have updated labels indicating SM. The label on the front is the same, but the label on the back has changed.

They still had a few of the older GF-4/SL bottles on the shelf, but i was glad to see the new labels.

Of all the oils i've tried, my car seems to like Sopus products, which is fine by me.

So 9000K would be a good mileage, if so i think i might just go with a full synthetic....

Changing synthetic at only 8000 km is still too soon, you could push it much further.

I guess i will probably just get a jug of PP 5w20 next time in town and use that... If 5w20 isn't around.... How would PP 5w30 work in my engine?

I found some PP at the store on sale for 24 bucks a jug, but all they have is 5w30 and 10w30.... How would 5w30 work in it?
