Service Wash

[The Critic]

I was did a service on this car and decided to throw-in a quick clean-up...out of pity. I don't think this car gets washed more than a few times a year, but this will change.

This clean-up got cut short because she was in a hurry to go to the mall, so I will have to finish cleaning up the polish splatter, door jambs, trim and glass at a later date.

One of these days, I will correct the finish to a higher level and apply Opti-Coat 2.0 for easier maintenance.

But until then, I will live with the 50-60% correction and a few months of protection...

I agitated the Iron-X after it dwelled on the paint for a few minutes. Take a look at the gunk on the towel:

Thanks, but this car is a 5-footer at best. Up-close, you'll see the nasty key job and the tiny scratches in the paint that require heavier correction to remove.

Looks good. That's a shame about the key scratch, considering it's only 2-3 years old.

Yeah, routine maintenance. Oil Change and tire rotation.

I sped through this car -- about 3.5 hours. It's the quickest 1-step that I have ever done.

3.5 hours is nothing on this car. I could've spent 15-20 hours on this car easily. In fact, I'm still a little surprised by how much of an improvement I got from just three passes with Hyper Polish in less than 2 hours of polishing.
