39% (definite yankee). i am a transplant from western pa. 'crick', 'yins', 'hoagie' (although we usually spelled it yens) are all very familar to me. but i dont usually use them around here.

I'd guess this has something to do with my family (both Mom's and Dad's) being in Michigan since at least the 1870s.

Mine was 81% Southern but I'm a transplanted yankee from the Pittsburgh area. I guess it's the 18 years in Richmond, VA. BTW I still use the word "pop" to describe Coke, Pepsi, etc.

I was 79% Dixie, but I imagine I'd be in the 80s if I was sittin' at Sprayberry's with a Cocola.
