Im about 300 miles away from changing the oil in my truck and i have a bottle of seafoam to put in the gas tank to clean the injectors. My question is...im i supposed to do it before the oil change or after the oil change or does it matter at all at what point i do it?

I dont think it really matters. I'd do it before because in the chance that some of that crud thats in the Fuel injectors gets into the oil, you will change it and it will be gone. It might be bad getting that buildup in brand new oil.

Try putting some seafoam in your brake booster. Read the directions, load it up, shut it off for a half hour, and run it hard. It will make a huge difference.

Do it before you change your oil. Terry specifically told me that it will get past the rings and dilute the host oil so that is why you want to do it before you change your oil. Also pull the brake booster vacuum line and slowly let it suck the seafoam into the engine through the brake booster vacuum line. Follow the directions. At the end of the procedure you let it stall the engine and let it sit for a few minutes. Definatly do it OPEN area because it will smoke like crazy.

yep I used the Seafoam carbon cleaner in my 88 BMW 528e, I happened to check the oil after a day or so and noticed that it had thinned. Something I did getting the car to pass emissions definitely gave it more pep. I replaced the plugs and the O2 sensor. I used water , then Seafoam to clean the valves and combustion chambers. 2 months later, the car has still got more pep than before the treatment.
