I eat anything that doesn't eat me firstI'm OK buying motor oil at a discount, but *I* would be very skeptical buying a perishable food at a discount.
So, out of curiosity, why were they discounted? I'm guessing they were at the end of their "sell by" date?

Looks like 7 Jul was sell by date. Since it is whole in cry-o-vac it is in pretty good shape. I cut into steaks and freeze same day, minus one meal to eat. Never had issues doing this.I'm OK buying motor oil at a discount, but *I* would be very skeptical buying a perishable food at a discount.

Prime Rib is the cut, not the grade. Only applicable to that cut. I guess you could have Prime Prime rib.How can they label that "Prime" rib when the USDA grade is "choice"?
