Have been using the same blade from the site listed above for a few weeks now and has doubled its useage time and still feels like the first shave. I would reccommend it to anyone, I am impressed thats for sure.

Blades will last much longer with increased softening of the wiskers. I usually wet my face and then let the shaving cream on while I check my email or something like that. I use the cheapest of the cheap disposal..like a buck for 10

. And each lasts like a week and shaves like there isn't even a blade in there.. I'm sure it does depend on the thickness of the beard though.

The last quattro lasted me three weeks, I still maybe able to use it another week if I time it right. That's 3 times as long as the mach 3. It doesn't shave as close, but good enough.

Finally placed my order.

I had to go out and buy a new shaving system. I got the Quattro, and used up one of the blades that came in the pack. I have one left so I ordered the 8 pack. If that last as long as they say that will darned near be a year.

With the standard quattro it lasted about 3 weeks, it was pretty rough shaving with it this morning, so it's toast.

My last roomie in college was the son of a top Gilette executive. I didn't have to buy any razors at all for about five years because I left with a sample bag that rivaled my current collection of GC.

Humorous note: the Gillette people may be the only group of employees who are required to come to work unshaven. They're (or they were in the early 80s) required to come try out and report on the products in development.

Here's a trick I found that will make any razor last longer: dribble a small amount of Vitamin E (the oily substance inside the yellowish capsules) on your razor after you've cleaned it up and dried it. I saw a product that claimed to extend razor life by keeping it immersed in oil, thereby preventing corrosion of the blades, so thinking "out of the box," I decided to try this trick (Vit E is oil-based). It works well, and the Vitamin E residue also lubricates the blades nicely at the next shave. I've essentially doubled the life of my costly razor blades this way (though I'll never again find a deal as good as my five years of free shaving. . . ).

I buy my Mach3 Turbo blades on ebay, $1/blade - very cheap. I can only get about 3 shaves max out of a blade though, so it's the only cost effective way for me.

I found the opposite for the Quattro - the gummy stuff on it wore out quickly and it didn't last long on my beard when doing against-the-grain stuff. Although my dad loves the quattro!

My wife got me the new Gillette Fusion power for a valentines gift and this is this the best shave I have ever had. I actually look forward to shaving.

Quattro rules!!!

I got one for free off the internet, and boy could I tell a difference.

I used Gillete Edge shaving cream, and I get a nice close shave with it and the Quattro.

I've been using the Quattro with the cryo blades for a couple of months now. I think my last blade lasted at least 5 weeks or more. I need to mark it on the calendar next time I change out.

I'm using edge gel as well. It's a wonderful shave.
