is it really so expensive or difficult to package lubricants in small containers? i ask because there are quite a few products of shcaeffer's i would buy if they were available in 1qt, or even 1 gallon, quantities.

I don't think that the expense is to much of a issue. Scheaffer markets their oils to industry, not to the general public and I would assume there isn't much of a demand for the quart/gallon size bottles within industry. Although I do agree with you, it would be much nicer if they did offer those sizes.

There are many schaeffer's fluids that I would like to try, if I didn't have to get a 5 gallon bucket.
