Two many subzero starts to count including an observed low of -28F. Vehicle sat for 1 week straight while gone on vacation.

Have never added any make up oil. No noticeable consumption ever.

I had Terry Dyson take a look at this. For anyone who has not tried his service I highly recommend it.

Refilled with 5 more qts of Schaeffer's and a new Pure One. Added 12 oz of Auto Rx. Installed new OEM air filter.

This looks nice. I've thought about using Schaeffer's, and honestly, this is making me want to try it more. A solid 7.5k oil, and the price is really pretty nice.

Was Terry happy with the results?

Why did you add 12 oz of Auto Rx to this fine oil?

Terry is helping me "tune" on things to make the results even better. I was amazed with his interpretation. For those seeking perfection he is well worth the investment.

As for the Schaeffer's it never ceases to impress me. Performance exceeds it's price point. This was one brutal oil interval environmental wise and the Schaeffer's protects well.

With this oil and periodic ARX cleaning, that Rogue should be spotless its whole life.

I will also be getting Schaeffer's soon, I can get it locally for 5.00/qt for the 7000 or 6.00/qt for the 9000.

Yes, it's a Crown Vic Police Interceptor, 4.6L. I think you'll find it interesting. I'll post it as soon as the lab emails the visc to me.

Given the low mileage on your vehicle, I think you could hold off on the ARX. With a 7k OCI that oil should keep your engine spotless.

I wish my local rep had some 5w20, I would start using it in my brother's F150 as I think it would perform well. He only carries 10w30. Maybe he'll order some if I ask?
