Looked pretty good. If the price of about $13-$14 stays, it's a hit in my book.
My gas mileage with the 2200 OHV Cavalier is 31 mpg combined. The EPA highway mileage for this car is 33. Best mileage I got was 39 and worst was 29. Check out www.j-body.org. Ecotec owners are reporting 40+ mpg w/manual transmission, but it varies with your driving habits.quote:

The Yugos were 1800 - 2000 lbs, according to Wikipedia. That's not much lighter. Besides, I don't think you realize how consistently windy the Mackinac straight can be. The bridge is even built with steel grating over the suspension span to allow the wind to flow through the bridge instead of causing excessive sway. The wind profile of the side rails is also kept low for the same reason. It's also very high above the water and kind of a scary bridge to drive across.quote:
