There is no comparison to a Tercel!!!

The Echo was a direct predecessor, not a Tercel.
The Echo has established itself as a very reliable and solid car, on par with other Toyotas.

Having to look off to the side rather than a simple up and down scan, how is the center placement better than the traditional ip? I have driven an Ion, and this one "feature" condems the car for me.
