For the record, I wasn't being serious. It's too bad you can't convey unspoken emotions on internet forums. Smilies have their limitations, too. The Yugo story is quite true, though.
No, that would be the Festiva.quote:

Between this and luvs2drive's comments about the suspension, you'd better be careful driving one of these on the Mackinac Bridge (linking the upper and lower peninsula's of Michigan). I remember a news report a number of years back that a Yugo literally got blown right off the bridge on a windy day. It's a long way down to the water, too. That's when they started 25 mph speed limits on windy days and offering escorts across the bridge (someone will drive for you if you'd like).quote:

wouldn't it blow out of the highway with a strong cross wind?
I understand that it is smack in the centr of the dash, but IMO, its still less of a deviation of the eyes than dwn between the steering wheel.quote:

I drove a car that had one and I had to physically look over to see the speedo more so than in any of the other vehicles I've driven. It was a Saturn Ion. Not a big fan. When you drive, you don't really look at the center of the windshield do you? The GM HUD displays it directly on the driver's side of the windshield, not the center of the windshield. I have a lot of other electronic devices in the center stack of my Jeep but i consider those auxiliary devices compared to my instrument cluster.
When i said center of the dash, I mean dead center. It has a slight angle so you can "see it better" but you still have to look over at it. Nissan realized this flaw with the Quest after realizing buyers were turning their van away for that sole reason.
I dont like the fit's highway fuel economy, but I think id like the vehicle... the value seems reasonable. The yaris doesnt seem so.quote:

Upon close examination, one can easily see "how little car" the Yaris and/or Fit offers for the money. For about the same amount of money, one can purchase a Cobalt or ION, which will have much more room, nearly as good fuel efficiency, and a more powerful engine. In addition, for $15,000, instead of the Honda FIT, I would much rather purchase a Chevy HHR.
