I highly doubt this. The food from the community garden has none of this stuff.

When I go to Jason's Deli, I typically just get the salad bar.

My salad is mostly spinach, with some of that purple lettuce added.

I don't go crazy on the dressing, but I love my bacon pieces, boiled eggs, shredded cheese, and sunflower seeds!

Does lettuce on a hamburger count?

Only if the burger is between 2 lettuces. (That's how I saved the vacation when the resort we where at had half of restaurants closed preparing for New Year and everything was long lines)

I prefer plant based diet but don't eat much leafy salads. I don't know who came up with the idea of salads being chopped up leaves. It gets even weirder when they put chopped up fruit in it.

Disgusting.

I've always wondered exactly the same about all the chemicals sprayed on vegetables.

I like iceberg lettuce with purple cabbage in it but don't eat salads as much as I should. On the other hand I always have radishes, celery, cucumbers and petite baby carrots on hand all the time. Every night when I get home I get them out, wife calls it the veggie bar.

At work, we have a big salad bar in the cafeteria and I would make salad every day for lunch. The Executive Chef would see me in the cafeteria every day with my salad and one day told me don't eat the salad in there, I've seen how they wash the lettuce and I don't want you eating that. So, for the last seven years or so, he has been making me salads that he makes in his kitchen. Better than any other salad I've ever had. Icing on the cake is the dressings he makes fresh daily. Now I'm spoiled and the total bummer is June 30th, it all goes away.
Our company was bought out by someone else and everyone got packages.

Gonna have to get his dressing recipes and make my own.
