SAE Paper: Affect of Fresh Engine Oil on ZDDP

Some time ago I read (on BITOG I think) about an SAE study that showed that fresh engine oil had a tendency to take up or dissolve the antiwear layer laid down by the old oil before it formed its own antiwear layer. This SAE study would seem to support this phenomenon - http://papers.sae.org/2007-01-4133/.

Can anyone provide a link to the SAE study I'm looking for?

Too technical for me, but I wonder if sticking with the same brand would have any bearing on that.
