Try the regular triple T version 15-40

For the money Im really tempted to go with a 2.5gal jug of Rotella 15w40 over T6 5w40. Just for the price alone its a stellar amount of oil for the money.

Engine temp will be higher with an Xw-50.

I've used it (T6 5w40) but prefer to go with a 50 grade oil for the hot summer months. My bike has a SHARED SUMP as well so starting with the 50 just makes sense. I used the T6 last fall and in the beginning of the spring but then switched to Valvoline just he other day, I used 1qt VR1 dino, and 2 qts of the Valv full syn m/c oil, all 20w50. I got the syn m/c oil dirt cheap. Got 9 qts of M1 15w50 as well (all at about $5.50 a qt) so those will be the next few oil changes. It should last a while. I think depending on your bike a 40 may or may not be your best choice.
