Went on vacation last Friday.

Drove the 1,528Km to my parent's place on the NB/NS border. Tooled around NS and NB for the week, then drove home.

Expedition performed flawlessly the whole trip. Haven't done the math on the fuel mileage yet, but it wasn't bad! $180 each way.

Will post up some pics when we get them off my wife's camera.

Awesome Trip!

14.5 there, 14 back. GPS told me it was going to be 18; not a chance

Fastest I've done it was in 12, that was in the Mustang. My parents normally take 16 or 17 to do it.

The Ontario roads are much nicer than anything east of here. Quebec was a disaster. NB was better (most parts; in-town and near Moncton was quite bad), NS was horrid.

Sounds like a good trip. I flew from Vancouver to Halifax, then rented an SUV (Durango) and took the ferry to PEI, which I loved. Didn't get to use the bridge, though.

I lived in Maine for many years, just wondering if you went through Maine or New Brunswick? In 79 I drove through Maine, into N.B. then up to PEI. Great trip.

That sounds like an awesome drive... Would love to make that trip.

Driving from British Columbia to Ontario was quite the trek, and it was a beautiful trip. I would recommend to anyone to do it at least once in a life time.

That's about how long it takes!

My wife and I drove from Windsor (Detroit) out to BC in '06 through the U.S., and it was our intention to drive back via Canada. We (she) got bored in the endless prairies so we took a right in Regina and came back I-94.

I drove from the coast of North Carolina to Vancouver. Took 4 days and 3 nights. I should've taken longer, it was an excellent trip..except for the month I spent in Kansas one day.

Nope, didn't go through the states, drove through the nightmare that is Montreal.

I'd love to drive west, just haven't had a reason to yet?

You could try surfing near Tofino on Vancouver Island or go sea kayaking to some old growth forest. Cathedral grove is pretty impressive as well. Glacier National park is good to see too while there are still glaciers.
The road across Vancouver Island is fun in a semi sporty car too.
I'd recommend going north of superior and through the praries on the way out and come back through washington, montana, south dakota. We took that route the last time and it was interesting pretty much all the time.
