Well, I was in the auction room at Auburn, and didn't even know that this was going to be happening. The guy sitting next to me filled me in as it was unfolding. Didn't know that Dennis Collins was going to be there either. Walked through the room shown starting at 2:55 in the video, didn't know that they were his cars.

This is the same Labor Day weekend auction where my Dad bought his '52 Chevy.

I have it on my bucket list to go to Auburn, Cord, Dusenberg Museum. I am huge fan of Cord autos, even though I know I will never own one. They were so far ahead of their time, and were designed with a flair fitting for the time.
