I recently put this antifreeze in a 2019 rzr900. The machine started over heating. When I went to take the thermostat out I realized there was only the the brass and spring in left. Very shocked. The entire metal cage was gone. Called the dealer and they thought I was nuts.
I then left what was left of the thermostat out and ran the machine. Next the water pump went now a metal nipple blew out the head for the oil cooler. Can’t fix that. Thousands dollars. Complete lose.
At this point I’ve been taking videos and picks of metal in a glass with the antifreeze every day. Watching it eat the metal before my eyes. Bubbling away. I. Any be the only one. Also was putting the product in my 04 duramax and having over heating problems. Flushed the system on the truck and so far fine. Please help. It won’t allow me to post videos.

Eeek. Where did you find that junk? Almost sounds like it contains pool acid.

I'm skeptical of that brand because of the known issues with their lubricants.

I would recommend you take a sample of the coolant and have it tested for pH / Acid levels, etc. Is it possibly a catalytic or dielectric type reaction?

Further, you didn't tell us much about the machine. Are you the first owner? Bought used? What maintenance do you know of that's been done to the coolant system, etc? What OE and aftermarket additives, if any, were used?

You spent a lot of time and effort here, I can’t believe that you failed to purchase Some very basic pH test strips. They’re a couple of bucks at an auto parts store. That’ll tell you if this stuff is acidic, as you suspect, or not.

What liquid is in the glass jar and what metal part is in there?

^^^^ This right here! If you want to test it on the cheap without buying litmus paper, just add a teaspoon of baking soda (e.g., Arm & Hammer) to the "coolant" sample to check for acidity. If it bubbles and foams, it is acidic.

A few days later with the roll pin. Wish I could post videos of it boiling. Terrible. Still selling it down the road and who knows where else! Insane. I can’t do anything. Complete loss of my machine.
