Repairing power steering cables on snow blower

Some snow blowers come with " power steering cables" that allow the snow blower to disengage one of the wheels to turn quickly. They have been around for a long time. The cables are a bit weak for the task and can break after a while. This video shows how to do replace the cables on a Craftsman but they are the same on many models including Husqvarna and other MTD made units. The cables are attached to a "trigger" on each side of the control bar. I followed the process and replaced the cables in under an hour. The cables are available on Amazon. I'll post some pics of my experience with it. Stay tuned.

Here are some pics I took. I also greased things up.
The red square drawn on the 2nd photo shows where the cable attaches to the control at the axle. The cable pull causes a gear to be pulled out of a set of splines and disconnects the power to the axle. Greasing the splines and shooting lube on the pivot points helps.
