So i inherited a rolling mechanics toolbox with all the tools.. which was mostly good except for a couple drawers, one that was totally munged up/broke and at least one other seeming misaligned. Are those slide out slide things they tend to have on them totally proprietary, somewhat universal/ easily fixed, or what exactly? I guess i'm not big on fabbing or even diagnosing sometimes - I just replace parts when I can follow instructions. Has anyone ever tried to fix them? I couldn't even figure out how to remove the drawer honestly (seemed attached or fixed to the slides) so wasnt sure where to start.

FWIW its sears craftsman stuff.

You talking about the drawers themselves, or the drawer slides ?
