I was in the mother-in-law’s detached garage. He husband died about 15 years ago. She never really goes in there. the place was farmand during the time nobody threw away anything that had possible usage for something else. Anyway, I thought some of these lubrication cans Were interesting.

You don't realize at the time just how hugely important those moments are. So many kids don't get any time at all.
Both of my sets of grandparents lived a block apart. They were all wonderful people that had a profound effect on me. I still think of them and miss them. When I go back to my home town, I will drive past their houses and remember.

Now my job is to be that kind of grandparent for my grand kids.

I have a few old cans: Enco, Sinclair, Gulf, Mobil, Texaco, etc, etc …
But, the bottles in my avatar are empty 😷
