does anyone know what makes redline racing oil green in colour? it's green like Simple Green not GC. are they adding dye to distinguish from the street oil or is it caused by excessive amounts of moly?
whew okay very nice. i would have been a bit worried if it was moly. i'm dumping the quarts into clear 1gallon PETE bottles. even though theyre labelled its always good to be sure one can identify one from the other. thank you guys
The moly is usually grey streak through the oil, the green could be a nice group 1 base oil
I've even tried an oil that looked like raspberry cordial syrup. Good stuff. It was an iteresting colour choice as it was not too far off trans oil. Just it smelt much much sweeter.
