First off Im from Southern California. grew up racing everything from go karts, to bikes, boats, to drag strip, to autocross.....only gear oil I've ever used was Redline........I remember my dad buying like 5 gallon butckets of 90wt back in 1985(I had to get them out of the truck)....

How many of you guys strickly use redline gear oil? Ive found over the years it works in everything....

Began using RL in the late 90s, it is in most of my gearboxes and differentials and I have always been pleased with its performance.

I had every gear, transfer case and manual trans and family cars with the same for years. I switched over to HPL this time for my tuner car.

Redline in my HD primary and Heavy Shockproof in the trans. It lessened the normal clunks in the HD 5 speed a little also. No issues.
I use the Heavy Shockproof in my snowmobile chain cases also. Those chain cases get a tremendous amount of stress as they drive the track, lots of slip and grab traction in normal operation. One sled has 10k miles on it now on the original chain and sprockets. 135hp motor.

With only 8k miles I swapped to it in my '19 Miata 75w90 and it solved all nibble. It was quiet remarkable, the transmission was pure butter. I ordered some D4 for my Camaro since I'm not happy with the performance of the stock fluid unless it's hot hot.
