redline now has new d6 transmission fluid for the Dexron 6 and mercon sp....price increases due to go up in feb. on gear lubes,race oils ans multi vis oils..

I can't find D6 on Redline's website. Are there any links to more info?
i get my redline from 3r auto racing and they have it in stock, in fact, i have to go there today..i called dave yesterday and asked more questions, it is avail. haven't updated their web site yet....he explained to me that d6 is thinner then d4 which is what my fords take...not to use d6 in my 98 fords......d6, as he explained, is a pre sheared so it doesn't shear in these new transmissions of GM's ( i don't understand that pre shear stuff)...fords answer is the mercon sp... i will look at the bottle today and let you know what it says on it iam curious..

yes, thats what i don't understand!!! supposedly these new transmissions are really hard on an fluid so to keep them from shearing they shear it for you....lol i really don't believe what i heard from redline..call dave and ask him maybe you all might understand better..it just doesn't make any sense to me.
