Have any of you used Permatex rearview mirror adhesive extreme strength formula? How were the results?
I believe that Versachem is Permatex. Same company owns both brands.I have not used that. I have used this, I think Trav recommended it, but its been about 4 years.

The trick is to tape the metal tab on when glued, and then let it cure for a week. Yes, I drove another car the whole time.
Does WalMart sell these in the store? It's on their website for $2These are cyanoacrylate adhesives that set up in seconds and cure in minutes. Letting them cure more than an hour wont make the bond any stronger. For $2, this is all your need.

I have used the Permatex Professional Strength version of rearview mirror adhesive from Walmart 2 times. It lasted about 8 months each time. The price was $2 and is now $4. Maybe the price is higher because it is a new formulation and better (I would hope) ? ) I wonder if theDoes WalMart sell these in the store? It's on their website for $2
