Don't mind it on my Civic, and I ain't no grandma,

I like that a lot. What Year / Model Civic is it? Is that one just called the Civic Sport or what?
Sure looks designed n built to drive/steer well. Close ratio steering? Does it handle tight and fun. Or is it a little too stiff?
It does seem to be set lower than most or the trim could make it look like that.
What is the factory name of that color? Looks a lot nicer than some , especially those that really do resemble old look primer.
I know , I know , you probably could care less as it is likely FOR SALE?

Solid colors? Are you saying among the 2,161 solid colors, aka Pantone colors, there are none you like? And white, grey, and black, being monochrome, are not colors to begin with.

Oddly the OP got it a bit wrong........"solid color" yeah OK, but even my Toyota Cement Gray has flake in it. Not sure if they were the first, but now there is a range of similar grays drifting to one of the primary colors, some I don't like including the newer Tacoma Luna/Lunar - too much yellow. I will also say this, my paint is holding up. The Pearl (white) of my 2014 WRX was terrible paint.

Oddly I also like root beer type colors. No Tacoma in that color, earlier Tundra only.

When I saw the Colorado - thought of my late BiL who had a few old cars - one was a Plymouth Sport Fury - pretty close to that color …
(Metallic paint)

I'm a fan of the flat colors after seeing silver, white, black for years (full disclosure, I've owed 2 black, 1 white, 2 silver vehicles). This color is Baja Storm Metallic. It looks flat from a distance with small flake that can be seen up close.

The specific vehicle and size matter in this quite a bit. I hate battleship gray on large SUVs and trucks but my GLI pulls it off well IMO. It has better lines, curves, and accent colors to complement the lack of metallic in the paint.

I was behind an olive green Tesla on the highway yesterday, I thought I was hallucinating. It wasn't gray, black or white. It actually made the car look pretty nice and upscale.

I wish car manufacturers would offer something besides the plethora of ho hum black, white, gray, or silver cars in the US, regardless of it being solid, pearl or metallic. Something along the lines of BMW's Individual program or VAG Spektrum offerings would be nice. Thats why I like cars from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, they came in a variety of colors.
