My first experience of Liotta was well before Goodfellas. Unlawful Entry. Very creepy, in a realistic way--not a horror show way. Eyes that looked right through you. RIP.

Recently watched St. Elsewhere episode " Rain " ( '83 , Season 1 , #9 ) ) with him at a young age of 24 . Looked younger than that .

I always liked him. He didn't have to act in Goodfellas. It was a natural for him. And he played the kind of dad I wish I had in the movie "Blow".
