Does 100+ octane unleaded race gas use MMT to boost the octane? If not what does it use? I was under the impression that MMT and lead were the only things that could give you really high octane ratings in gasoline but I'm curious if there is anything else.
Also for somebody that runs alot of Torco do you think MMT build up would be a concern? If so do you think that seafoam would take care of it? or maybe water injection since it is basically like steam cleaning the combustion chambers? I will probably continue to use it either way since I think it is the cheapest and most convenient way to get 100+ octane but I was still curious if it could become a problem.
