Cujet's post was interesting and brought back memories. Some clinics -smaller ones generally - are MWF only. Others are MWF/TTS. I managed both types. Since Medicare pays for the majority of treatments the per treatment rate is a set amount. Back in the 90's it was $122 per treatment in Texas. The companies that own the clinics watch every penny and every supply item is calculated on a "usage per treatment" basis. You'll have a charge nurse (in Texas, either an LVN or RN) supervising the floor, but you have a lot of "patient care techs" that actually perform the treatments. A PCT could have been flipping burgers a month earlier. The pay is low and the job is thankless.

I could tell you a whole lot more, but for me, I think I'll die at home before going to a dialysis center.
