Question for the auto rx guys

CHILL GUYS!

I misread Franks post.

In an attempt to check this thread and reply to it before I got out the door to work this morning I wound up posting in a half awake state.

"This is a much lower cost option than tearing your engine apart and cleaning by hand, even then you would not get rid of all sludge."

In my brain addled state I thought he was saying that auto rx would not get out all the sludge. I apologize for that but the remarks in my absence were not necessary.

"What's up with your statement; photos only as test? Aaron, think you want free product to do some homemade test. Sorry you have to buy it."

**My response** I see you apologized but you could have also edited the accusatory posts. For the record, I want nothing free from you. Unless the product does not work as advertised in which case I would expect a refund as per your "warranty"

"Excuse me Aron for being somewhat synical, but could you point to the criticism to which you speak?"

**My response** troy_heagy; He was the reason I decided to post the pictures and offer to document the results. I noticed him "hounding" Frank yesterday.

"Now what is your REAL agenda?"

**My response** I don't have one. If I did I wouldn't have given the auto rx guys a chance to "back out gracefuly" before hand. I would have simply used the product and posted the pictures which might have been very bad for them if this was more than auto rx could handle. I was trying to be fair.

It appears you have mostly lacquer and varnish, and without viewing through the drain hole, we don't know if the bottom end is sludged.

I would recommend Delvac 1300 and Auto-RX while following directions from the Web site.

Edit: Nissan's engines need oil changes WITHIN the severe service schedule of oil changes, generally < 3,700 miles with dinos. The previous owner may have been following the 7,500 mile schedule, which is, in my view, an engine killer.

I run a Nissan Frontier with the same engine. Tough engine, but still needs TLC.

Pablo, just sell Auto-Rx (like other Amsoil dealers to clean your customers engines) you will sell more oil and they will be happier.
Aaron, I am trying to help you - lets try again. Visit www.auto-rx.com, click on link "Independent Field Test Results". Do you see Auto-Rx Field Test? There is "pdf" file and it includes before and after photos (you have to click on it), also has full third party documentation. (Aaron, still not giving you free product.) Don't waste anyones time about these are not the photos you want because its all your going to get. Pablo you either.

Aron,

With the critic(s) you have had lately I was actually hoping this could be a real test of your product. No analysis just pictures that were not open to personal opinion.
Considering the reviews you seem to be getting here I am dissapointed to hear this from you.

Excuse me Aron for being somewhat synical, but could you point to the criticism to which you speak?

You have an engine problem, correct? A potential solution has been offered, correct?

No one on this board, including the Site sponsor, caused this engine problem, but have only offered a potential solution.

Now what is your REAL agenda?

Frank,

While you have been extremely helpful to me and others on this forum, you must admit that sometimes your posts come off as a bit combative and at times condescending.

Really, accusing somebody of wanting free product when the real issue is a misunderstanding of your statement is a touch heavy-handed.

Yeah definately go for it!! I'd change my filter twice during the Auto-RX interval if I were you. Keep us posted, I want to know how this turns out!

Come on man, don't talk down to me...just because I have the little site sponsor logo doesn't mean I'm some moron......just sell Auto-Rx...don't get me started, just keep it scientific.....

Hello Darrenc, I apologize to Aaron, it's the gentleman below that wants to test free product which I'm not going to give him. Glad you brought this to my attention. I do feel challenged and perhaps it's coming across as being somewhat combative; I've been Hagyized and Browningized for days.

Provide a bottle of rx to me and I will convey an accurate assessment of my findings.

I have a Toyota 4 Runner 3.0 V6 with 76,000 miles on it. The drivers side valve cover has a very "slight" leak that I want to fix, therefore I will remove and replace gasket and take before and after pictures.

I bought the truck with 57000 miles on it and the owners weren't to particular about oil changes so there is some varnish and very "minimal" deposit evident at filler hole.

Up to the challenge?

Aaron, have been meaning to catch up to your posts. Auto-Rx is guaranteed to work to your satisfaction or there is no charge. Our customers know this.Trust is a two way street. We have had some people posting who purposely misrepresented
facts and than substituted there own credentials for doing so.We don't get angry when some one can;t see results, our policy is to help them obtain results. Almost every buyer and visitor to Auto-Rx receives a personal e-mail from me re: there questions, when they contact Auto-Rx. Our customer support and service is second to none.
Third party test data has cost us money and we also had to agree not only to pay, but also allow
Dyson Oil Analysis to post there findings good or bad. Auto-Rx was up for that challenge and we don't need anymore. Auto-Rx is solid patened chemistry with an enviable documented track record.

Prior to earning an engineering degree, I worked in sales. Dealing with skeptical customers is just part of the job. I quickly learned that getting mad at them does not work. You just have to keep smiling.

Mr.Heagy your absouluetly right. Sometimes they just to bait you and susbstitute fact with misrepresentation of your product, glad you put up your post. Have A Happy Memorial Day

Nothing wrong with asking questions. Lanolin esters in auto-rx are very good performance additives for engine cleaning. However by themselves do not have the proper physical characteristics for this application. In combination with an aliphatic ester and a polyol ester, the blend is designed not to interfer with the physical characteristics of the host motor oil. All three esters are compatible with synthetic base stocks as well as dyno base stocks.
All three components have desireable qualities as to ep, and lubricity, as well as cleaning properties. I believe that Auto-Rx works best for cleaning and seal leaks when run with dyno oil, because it is the only esters in the working blend. There is no competing esters in the running mix. However rest assure that it will not compromise the intgety of any host oil.

When you come right down to it, no oil of any type would be much of a lubricant without the vital additive packages that they contain.

Happy motoring and be safe on this holiday weekend.
