My local Wal-Mart has it clearanced out for $3.00 a quart, so I bought what they had of it....5 quarts. I am a big Pennzoil fan, and I know that Quaker State is SOPUS' product. So, my question is....has anyone run this oil with results they would like to share? I am thinking about putting it in my 2.5 Nissan Altima. I have about 50 quarts of PP 5w30 for just about anything, and about 15 quarts of both Green and Gold GC, which I won't run.....by the way, anyone want it?...

So, is the Q Advanced Engine Synthetic good or bad in comparison to anything?

GIII synthetic. I'd say its better than Supertech syn, but less than PP.

I think I have some in my stash, along with Q-torque, but I haven't had the chance to use it yet.

I would use the GC before I used that Platinum.

Why the GC discontent?

Well, I wouldn't say that I have a discontent for GC. It just doesn't work for me. I have a Nissan Altima 2.5 and a Toyota RAV4 2.0. Both of them get about 2 mpg less running GC and what feels like a loss of horsepower, or maybe just torque. I don't think it is as good as Pennzoil Platinum for these reasons. I don't see myself putting the GC in the cars anytime soon. I think I will sell them to the highest bidder.
