Quaker State 5W-40 Euro gone?

Walmart has also dropped Pennzoil Euro L 5w30 from the the shelves, you can order it online but nowhere to pickup locally in my area.
Same with Walmart here. That's the oil I use in my 535d. I was able to get it in the store as of early 2024, but had to order it online when I needed it for my most recent oil change.

No Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5W30 or Quaker State Full Synthetic Euro 5W40 on the shelves of my local Walmart. There isn’t even shelf space allotted for them. There’s plenty of Castrol Euro Car 5W40 and Mobil 1 Euro oils.

That sucks! At least u got castrol and mobile. I love Quaker state green, green bottles and more green paper in my wallet

I was in another WM last night and they literally didn't have any Castrol Euro oils, they would always at least have the SL 5w30 but the only euro they had was M1 ESP in 0w20 & 0w30. In general this store was a lot like the other with not a whole lot to choose from, they didn't have any alarms on the oil jugs and they did have more oil filters stocked on the shelves to choose from. The alarms on the jugs must be a localized issue.

I ended up getting 3x jugs of the 0w30 and an extra endurance 9688 filter. Those 9688 filters must be made of gold or something because with all the other offerings they are a lot more expensive but when you get to the endurance they are all the same cost. My truck uses the 3506 and they are all reasonably priced. Fram used to spec 3593a but has now been superseded.

Walmart quit stocking Valvoline Euro 5w40 around Austin,Tx. Can get it online for 10.00 more. No thanks. Dont think there was any Pennzoil Euro either. Just Mobil and Castrol in the Euro flavor. I switched to Castrol Euro 5w40 last oci due to availability. Hope it plays well with my Passat.
Not exactly - this is on 1/3/2025 at the time of this post.

You can always order on the WalMart website and if you order two or more jugs they ship free to your door. I receive them within two to three days at most.

It seems they are making the shift over to this model, not carrying it in stores but you can order online.
Pretty much been this way in the greater Seattle/Tacoma/Everett, WA area WalMarts for a couple years now. It is totally random that a store might have ONE brand available in a Euro spec anymore. Usually Mobil 1 0w-40. Can't find Valvoline Castrol, Quaker State or Pennzoil anymore....maybe a few single quart bottles is all.

M1 0 or 5W40 is all I ever see now.

I should've taken a few pictures but the shelves were pretty empty. I know the 0w40 has been the holy grail on here for a long time but they aren't even keeping that in stock. I don't know if I've ever seen the QS 5w40 in there, they dropped the Euro-L 5w30 from the shelves awhile back and even the PP choices have become slim.

Walmart is getting to be a pitiful place to buy oil and filters.
Walmart is a store I avoid for anything but oil. I will give them credit, if the website says oil is in stock at a particular store, the inventory has always been correct when I go.

Might have to just order from them online from now on.

If I buy oil online, it won't be from Walmart.

The boxes they use for shipping are horrible, single walled cardboard. I've had some boxes ripped open and some of them FedEx returned to another facility during shipment so I never even saw those. Sometimes Amazon is on par with WM but you do have to compare pricing, either right in line or are more expensive.
