I was looking at fleetfilters and considering ordering a case of 12 filters for my 06 Forenza. They price out to $2 and some change each... Pure One's usually cost me around $6 each at the local Pep Boys. My plan is to use Havoline at 5k OCIs. Opinions? I'm guessing that the Napa Gold filters will do just as good a job as the Pure One's will do at a substantial cost savings.

I've done exactly the same...used PureOne filters and then bought a case of the Wix (Napa Gold) from the advice and information of others found here.

I just ordered from fleetfilter also. I like the PureOne's for filtration, but the dome bypass has always bugged me. Plus the Napa Gold's averaged around $3.79 each from fleetfilter, so it won out based on design and price. The Napa Gold's are good filters IMO....

I'm looking into ordering from there as well .. although I use regular Purolator's. I used a wix a long time ago and comparing it to a ST the Wix was real good quality. My only concern is where they're made. I think i'm going to order 2-3 to check them out before I order a big batch.

I ordered a case of Wix, simply because they have an overpressure relief valve that I think is better designed than the PureOne. Fortunately, both cars and my one motorcycle use the same filter.

Anything shipped UPS into Canada that is worth over $20.00 requires a broker ($50-75 !!).
The Post Office will handle up to $1600 before a broker is required. The Post Office charges $5.00/box for orders from the U.S.
Bryan, if you are thinking about shipping to Canada, USPS is the answer.

Bryan I have placed on order from you guys already and got bent over with a 45$ border processing fee. After the fee the filters worked to be around the same price as purchasing in Canada. If you guys want more business from us Canadians I suggest you find a cheaper alternative istead of UPS.

We are working on different shipping ideas. Right now UPS in intergrated into our system. Keep checking and hopefully we can do different methods. One reason we have not tried until here recebtly, is that we did not have that many orders going to Canada. It is starting to grow so we are trying to hurry it along.

I just made the switch to Wix due to FleetFilter's prices. Great filters. Outstanding prices. Ordered about 50 filters and the UPS shipping was only $24.00. Got my order in 2 days.

I think that for the pricepoint the Napa Gold can't be beat. Excellent quality filter and body construction, just hope shipping to Canada can be easier on the wallet.

Fleetfilter is it not possible to ad USPS into your shipping your system or could it be done separately just for Canadian orders, there is alot of business to be made in the great white north.
