I pulled out the plugs on my 1994 infiniti j30 3.0 v6 and they were Bosch platinum+2 4301 but the manual calls for NGK double platinum 2647 so isnt this bad they put the wrong plugs in the car? Also do you guys know if the bosch 4301 plugs can be even used in my car? I went on there website and put my vehicle info in and those Bosch plugs do not go with my car it says and i checked autozone and other parts stores and they dont call for those for my car either.

But i did remove them and put the correct ngk plugs in there

The NGK are the factory plugs. The Bosch are aftermarket and usually ok. I am not a fan of the +2/+4 plugs. Bosch got rid of them and the new Bosch plugs are ok. NGK and Denso are good plugs for that motor.

Yes the 4301 are the correct plugs from Bosch +2 to fit that motor. The part store may not have found them listed as they have been discontinued for a while.

I'd go with the NGK's even if the Bosch plug was an option. With regard to it being the wrong plug, it could be the heat range, or something else, or a Bosch replacement for OE. At this point there's nothing you can do about it other than put the right plug in. In other words, it's water under the bridge, don't worry about it.

If the car was running fine on Bosch, then they can be used in your car

That said, NGK is better.
