Project Cobra

Well the boss said no to the candied Brandywine. Not a surprise at all. She is open the the metallic Brandywine. Her thought is this car will attract enough attention without a very head turning paint job.

LOL!! With a vehicle like that the color choice will have zero bearing on the head turning. That beautiful vehicle is nothing but all about drawing attention.

lol, yeah she is not a huge attention kinda girl. She totally understands the pitfalls of this car, but has expressed the desire to not make it over the top. I am more than happy with the Brandywine color. Besides, happy wife, happy life!

I fixed my thermostat coolant leak I believe. I replaced the Dorman housing with a MR Gasket housing. I'm not excited it is chrome, but oh well. I took the little guy next door for a ride and both my boys and FIL. Just go karting around the block. Lot's of looks and mostly friendly waves. I set up my Speedhut Speedometer yesterday and it looks like I have 1.8 miles clocked.

I have made some progress the last few weeks all be it slow with the in-laws in town for a week. I am getting very close to bringing the body home for a first fitment.

I have got my turn signals and hazards sorted out and the LED lights installed. I fixed the rear turn signals and brake lights to ensure both brake lights stay on when a blinker is turned on.

This weekend was painting and instaling the sheetmetal in the trunk, then continuing with the Kilzmat. Getting close to carpet installation.

My goal is to have the car registered and on the road in August.
